Most home solar power systems are supplemental, still rely on the grid, and will not provide power at night or during rolling blackouts. Supplemental systems have no backups in the event of many days of cloudy weather, or component failure.

With our systems the grid is only there to be used as a back up in the event of a component failure in the power plant we will design.  Our systems are not supplemental systems, and do not rely on the grid. Charge Your Electric Car with Zero Emissions

When electric cars are being charged off the utility power grid they still have a massive carbon footprint. The power plant, (usually hundreds of miles away) burns a carbon based fuel, (mostly natural gas these days) and then the power is transported hundreds of miles to your home, or a public charging station. There is massive amounts of power loss due to transporting the electrical energy hundreds of miles, to charge your car. This would give “Slack Jaw” to those driving the electric cars, if they only knew.  

If you really want your electric car to operate with no carbon footprint, then let Independence Power Systems build you your own power plant so your electric car, can finally become “a Zero emissions” form of transportation. All other electric cars being charge off the grid all have a huge carbon footprint located hundreds of miles away, at some power plant.
